29th &30th dec

hi guys..yesterday i.e on 29th i came back from vacations but to my bad luck my flight was late by 10 hours..it was suppose to take off @ 5 am but due to heavy fog in delhi it took off at 2 in the afternoon and coz of this i missed my class..our training head was very upset from us.we were 11 guys who got stuck up coz of fog..guys..take my words..when ever you plan any any trip make sure you come 1 day earlier..its better early than late in corporate world..

today(30th Dec) we did some financial topics or i shud say the topics based on our product..i.e FLEXCUBE...sorry guys the information is confidential and i cant reveal whats its all about..but i'll keep you updated bout my experiances in the company..i hope you guys will be with me..

tomorrow we have a session of 10 hrs coz we have to complete our left over part.tomorrow is our LAST day in our trainig and we have been assingned 1 day leave on 26th so we have a long weekend from 25th to 28th..and most of us are goin back home..so i wont be able to post till monday..hope u guys wil miss me :P

Today we did Application servers..the teacher was very experianced and he was just concentrating on basics.but with that we were given a very bad news..tomorrow we are having a meeting with the HR people and in that those people will tell us that our package will going to be restructured..
tomorrow they are calling us just to sign the new offer letter with new package...m really in a very bad mood right now guys.. so guys..get ready for some shocking news.I'll try to post tomorrow if i am in a state of telling you..til then by3 by3...

hi guys..these 2 days had just been a timepass for us..
we completed a project on VB on 18th and today our trainer didn't came so we just revised our java and improved and added some more functionality in our VB project..
the project was simple...
we hav a bday of 1 of r frnd tomorrow..so we r goin to his room @12..so cant write more..thats all for today guys..take care of yourself..and keep asking me questions..

15th december

hi guys..today it was the day of submitting our project..
and believe me..our project was THE BEST in our batch..
feeling so good..
we did everything which is required by a banker related to an account..
our project was to make a program for a clerk who needs to work on managing Accounts in Bank.
it was fun and there's nothin to worry about..all u need is ur concepts shud be clear make project.it was fun..and it really cleared the concepts if java in 2 days..

hi guys..today we had our project.
we have to make a Banking application.
java based programming with database connectivity.
there are 2 ppl in one grp..we have done most of the work in the project and we stil have one more day i.e monday to complete our project and we have to submit it on monday afternoon.wish me luck guys..
today's day was good..we were all busy doing coding and all stuff..

hi guys,..todays day was again a look into the corporate world..we went to our office today for test.there our training HR scolded us like anything..she was totally on us that why we resisted in giving test..we said it was too short notice to give the test..she was very upset..we also realised that this is corporate world and we have to go by its terms..but in any case..what ever she said to us..she's a nice lady with clear heart..everythin she said was for our benefit only..Then gave her a bouquet just to show that we are sorry for our behaviour.
then we went to the training location and finished our java..
from tomorrow onwards we have our 2 days session for our PROJECT...
so i mat not be able to post til monday but i'll try my best..

guys..today's day was a mixed bag..we started JDBC..it was easy and i made almost all the programs..but as we were about to leave..we got a call from our training Head that we have a test tomorrow of oracle and html..and everyone was like SHIT man..how can we prepare for the test in such a short span of time..moreover oracle is so vast subject..so we tried to postpone the test..but the trainig hed said that she wont postpone the test..but after continues request she said that she'll see tomoorow..so we have to report to i flex office tomorrow and c weather we have any test or not..but if the test happens..most of us are goin to fail..

hi guys..me back again..today's session was a funny one..in the begining i was not understanding anything..
but when THREADING started..it started movin fine for me..we celebrated a gal's Bday today,she's in our batch..it was fun seeing the trainers with us celebrating her Bday..
overall it was a nice day..tomorrow we'll study the JDBC..java-database connectivity..i.e how to connect ur program with the database..

5th wek at training..8th dec

hi guys..from now on i'll post my experiance everyday..i hope you guys wil be with me..

today it was a long boaring day..it started off well with java..but later when it came to java docs and using classes of java docs..files it was all goin above my head..so guys...get urself prepared..and learn java..its very important..food here in mumbai is pathetic..so start learning preparing food..u'll b needing it very early..
no news regarding joining..
one more thing..
our salary in ORACLE payroll..i mean in our salary slip its ORACLE logo..and our oracle i cards are also ready,we just have to pick them from the office..

about training..3 days left of java..and after that we have to prepare a project on java with oracle connectivity {with database}..

4th week at Training..

Hi guys..this is the LONGEST week since we have joined the company..on monday we had a test of Software Engg and RDBMS..it was a objective type test,containing 20 questions each subject.
we have to get 60% ,marks to clear the exam..its easy to clear if you were attentive in the class..i secured 70 and 80 5 in the subjects respectively..
as u know the terrorist attack in mumbai last week..so we had to compensate that day holiday by goin today..i.e saturday..we started core java last week..and i'll tellu guys..if u haven't studied java b4..b prepared for some bouncers..its very tough to cope up with the speed with which trainers teach.
we have more 4 days of java and then we have to prepare a project on java and oracle..
from today i'll post everyday and will try to share my experiance with you guys..
hope you will join me and will feel the corporate culture with me..thats all for today guys..

3rd week at training..

This week was ful of terror..as we all know thw terrorist attack in mumbai..it was this week..we completed our Oracle.then came HTML {1 day} , XML & javascript {3days}..frankly speaking the training team is giving there best to teach us but the time is so short that you really need to put ur 100% to graps the things if you are new to the technology like me..who so ever says that you need  not do any language is not right..although they teach u everythin.but they cant teach ueverything..{i hope u got me :P}
so before comin to company have some good knowledge of core java and oracle..coz its these 2 subjects upon which company is givin stress..so get prepared for some hard work..

2nd week at training..

hi guys..m back with another post..we were 43 guys in the batch and further divided into 2 groups for external training..
we 23 guys were allotted to NIIT and remaining 20 guys were sent to HCL..
the training schedule were same for all of us..just the training location is diff..and faculty{obvious :P}
2 days for software engineering and 1 day for RDBMS..
the SE was very boaring as it was all theory..but RDBMS ws really good..it ws interesting to know about the database..then we had 5 day session for pl/sql,oracle..which was very interesting and lengthy..
5 days are very less for these things..but the MAM was very nice and we understood everything she taught..
about the meels..we were given breakfast and lunch at the training location for FREE..but you wont like the mumbai food if you are from north..but still..we manage something from that also..{hindustaani hai yaar.. :P }

1st week at iflex

hi guys..1st week was full of paper work and presentations..
we opened our Bank accounts for salary.i preferred HDFC over citi bank.
we were introduced to the technologies we work upon..the products...FLEXCUBE..the backbone of iflex..
There is NO sir/mam in the office..you have to call every one by his/her name only..we are a total of 43 guys who joined and were allotted RBPG (retail banking product group) group.
In all..the first week was hectic and boring but we came to know some guys from diff part of the country..it was fun to know those guys..thats all for now..will keep u updated..
